Keeping Track of the Web Buzz

I StumbledUpon this site called Popurls that keeps track of new upload on a bunch of the most popular sites, like digg, del.icio.us, reddit, Flickr, Newsvine, YouTube, Google and Yahoo news, Wired, Slashdot, BoingBoing, even twitter and lots more. I need to check it out  a little more to see if it’s any better than using a feed reader like Bloglines. One benefit I see so far is that it keeps track of stuff like videos from YouTube and photos from Flickr rather than just text.
